Hon. Dr. Ernest Hilaire Minister for Tourism, Investment, Creative Industries, Culture and Information, delivered an address on the occasion of World Tourism Day, on September 27, 2024, under the theme “Tourism and Peace”.

Dr. Hilaire said tourism can lead to greater economic stability, while the incorporation of Saint Lucia’s culture and heritage into the tourism experience allows visitors to gain deeper appreciation, and helps dismantle stereotypes.
