Prime Minister Honourable Philip J. Pierre delivered his maiden address, to the General Debate of the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), on Saturday, September 25th, 2021.
The annual debate of the United Nations General Assembly is the occasion for World Leaders to gather at the UN Headquarters in New York, to discuss global issues.
The theme for this year’s debate is “Building Resilience through hope to recover from COVID-19, rebuild sustainably, respond to the needs of the planet, respect the rights of people, and revitalize the United Nations.”
