St. Kitts and Nevis Celebrates 40 Years of Independence

The St. Kitts and Nevis Association of Toronto hosted a “40th Anniversary Pre-independence Celebration and Cultural Extravaganza”, in observance of St. Kitts and Nevis’ 40th Anniversary of Independence. The event was held on Sunday, 10th September 2023, at Venu Event Space, in Woodbridge, Ontario, Canada.

Prime Minister of Saint Kitts and Nevis – Hon. Dr. Terrance M. Drew, who was the Guest of Honour, delivered the keynote address. Consul General Henry Mangal and his collogues from the Caribbean Consular Corps were also in attendance.

The Consulate General of Saint Lucia in Toronto extends its warmest regards to the Government and people of St. Kitts and Nevis, as they prepare to celebrate their 40th Anniversary of Independence, on Tuesday, 19th September 2023.

  • Thursday, 01st January 2026, in observance of New Year’s Day, and
  • Friday, 02nd January 2026, in observance of New Year’s Holiday
