Saint Lucia was proud to participate in the 7th Annual John Wiggins Sr. Classic Charity Golf Tournament in support of the Focused Dreams Forward Foundation (FDF), marking our third consecutive year supporting this impactful initiative.
The tournament, held on Friday, June 26, at Hidden Lake Golf Club in Burlington, Ontario, served as the Foundation’s signature fundraising event, supporting youth empowerment initiatives across the Caribbean.
FDF has successfully delivered youth development and empowerment programmes in Saint Lucia, Jamaica, Antigua & Barbuda, Grenada, and Trinidad & Tobago, creating opportunities for the next generation of Caribbean leaders through education, mentorship, leadership development, and sport.
In Saint Lucia, FDF has successfully delivered its RISE UP Basketball Camp for four consecutive years, bringing together young athletes from communities across the island for skills development, mentorship, leadership training, and positive youth engagement.
We were honoured to support an initiative that continues to make a meaningful impact on the lives of youth not only in Saint Lucia, but throughout the Caribbean.
We were also proud to compete for the tournament’s Best Dressed Team title, and even prouder to have won! A heartfelt thank you to everyone who voted for Team Saint Lucia and supported us throughout the competition. Your encouragement helped make this achievement even more special.
