Saint Lucia Named in ‘Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards 2021’

Luxury and lifestyle travel magazine, Condé Nast Traveler, has named Saint Lucia as the #9 Destination in the Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards 2021, in the Caribbean & The Atlantic.

The magazine has also named six Saint Lucian resorts amongst its ‘Top 40 Resorts in The Caribbean Islands: Readers’ Choice Awards 2021’.

The results of the 2021 Readers’ Choice Awards demonstrate the travel experiences of a record-breaking 800,000 Condé Nast Traveler readers across the globe, who submitted tens of thousands of ratings and comments.  This year’s awards reflect the ways the world of travel has begun to welcome back guests, and how travel professionals have never stopped serving them, to the highest standards.

Across the breadth of Saint Lucia, resorts offering varying experiences were rated as follows: #7 Ladera Resort, #8 Jade Mountain, #16 Anse Chastanet Resort, #27 Sugar Beach, A Viceroy Resort, #28 Windjammer Landing Villa Beach Resort and #40 The Landings Resort & Spa.

“It is indeed an honor for our island, Saint Lucia, and indeed our accommodation providers to be recognized by the readers of Condé Nast Traveler. We have not only been recognized as a destination in our own right but so to six of our resorts,” said Hon. Dr. Ernest Hilaire, Minister of Tourism for Saint Lucia. “Our resorts and people continue to provide unmatched tourism experiences to our visitors from around the world, and this accolade is a celebration of everything that Saint Lucia offers its guests.”

Saint Lucia is experiencing steady growth with tourism arrivals and has several new tourism developments. The island continues with its management of the Covid-19 response on the sector.

The 2021 Readers’ Choice Awards are published on Condé Nast Traveler’s website at: https://www.cntraveler.com/inspiration/readers-choice-awards and celebrated in the November issue, of Condé Nast Traveler US and UK print editions.
