On Thursday, July 07th, 2022, the Chairman of RlSE St. Lucia Inc. (Canada Chapter), Dr. Venus Cherry and the Director, Ms. Alison Demelis, met with Consul General Henry Mangal, and the team at the Consulate, to discuss the formulation of a plan, to facilitate the shipment of donations, from Canada to Saint Lucia, seamlessly and efficiently, so that they get to the people who need them the most, in a timely manner.
Rise St Lucia Inc. a non-profit organization dedicated to the healthy development of youth, was born in 2007, from the vision of Jonathan ‘Ninja Dan’ St. Rose (Soca artiste), shared with Dr. Stephen King (Pathologist) and Dr. Jacqueline Bird (Child Health Specialist), to engage and empower youth, to develop positively, while linking and supporting similar efforts.
RISE’s Vision: “A nation with committed, conscious, productive youth, fully engaged in the process of national development” and Mission: “To implement youth-driven programs that allow for personal plan development, recognize the diverse needs of youth, and provide opportunity for all youth, regardless of circumstances, to participate, benefit and be supported, in their pursuit of a successful life.
