Prime Minister Hon. Philip J. Pierre Assumes Duty as Chair of the Conference of Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) for a six-month term.
The Conference of Heads of Government comprises the Heads of Government of the CARICOM Member States and is the supreme Organ of the Caribbean Community, responsible for setting the Region’s overall policy direction.
The Regular Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of CARICOM is a biannual event that convenes in February and July of each year. It is the meeting of the highest organ of CARICOM, where decisions that influence the Community are deliberated.
The meeting was held in Saint Lucia, from July 5-7, 2026, and was chaired by Prime Minister Honourable Philip J. Pierre.
