Saint Lucia’s 44th Anniversary of Independence Gala was hosted by the Saint Lucia Toronto Independence Committee, under the auspices of the Consulate General of Saint Lucia in Toronto, on Saturday, 04th March 2023, at Sts. Peter and Paul Banquet Hall, in Toronto, Canada.
The Guest of Honour at this year’s celebrations was Honourable Alva R. Baptiste – Minister for External Affairs, International Trade, Civil Aviation, and Diaspora Affairs – who delivered a riveting independence message, which was well-received, by the audience.
Consul General Henry Mangal and his team, along with members of the Diplomatic Corps, nationals, and friends of Saint Lucia, all came together, to celebrate our island’s independence, with a night filled with inspiring messages, delicious food, lively entertainment, nostalgic music, and dance.
