Date Adjustments for National Carnival Events

The Carnival Planning and Management Committee (CPMC) has announced new dates for several events listed under the National Events Calendar for Lucian Carnival, as follows:

Inter-Commercial Calypso Competition will now be held on Friday, July 05th, from 6:00 p.m., at the National Cultural Centre.

Groovy & Power Soca Monarch Competition will now be held on Saturday, July 06th, from 8:00 p.m., at the SAB, Vigie.

Junior Parade of the Bands will remain on Sunday, July 07th. The parade will begin at Serenity Park from 11:00 a.m.

Republic Bank National Panorama Competition will remain on Sunday, July 07th, from 8:00 p.m., at the SAB, Vigie.

King and Queen of the Bands will remain on Monday, July 08th, from 8:00 p.m., at the SAB, Vigie.

Calypso Monarch Competition will now be held on Saturday, July 13th, from 8:00 p.m., at the SAB, Vigie.

Mas in the City will be held from Wednesday, July 10th, to Friday, July 12th.

 J’Ouvert will remain on Monday, July 15th.

Parade of the Bands will remain on Monday, July 15th, and Tuesday, July 16th.

‌‌The CPMC advises that the decision for the adjustments to the dates have been made in consultation with key stakeholders and are necessary to ensure the preservation of the venues and the safety of our patrons.

NEW YEAR’S  DAY & NEW YEAR’S HOLIDAY

Please be advised that the Consulate General of Saint Lucia in Toronto will be closed on the following dates:

  • Thursday, 01st January 2026, in observance of New Year’s Day, and
  • Friday, 02nd January 2026, in observance of New Year’s Holiday

We will resume normal operations on Monday, 05th January 2026.

  • Friday, 26th December 2025, in observance of Christmas Holiday


We will resume normal operations on Monday, 29th December 2025.
