Cabinet Upholds $80 Passport Fee for Persons who Applied Up to July 24th, 2022

 In ensuring the continued transition to Saint Lucia’s new electronic passport system, Cabinet has authorized by Cabinet Conclusion No. 480 of 2022, that applicants in possession of valid payment receipts, issued prior to July 25ᵗʰ, for either new or renewed passports, shall not be required to pay any additional fees, for the issuance of the ePassports.

Please note:

  • Machine readable passports are valid until their expiry date.
  • Passport applicants for new or renewed passports, with valid receipts before July 25ᵗʰ 2022, will not be required to pay anything extra, to receive the new ePassport.

The Government of Saint Lucia shall absorb any monetary shortfalls, related to this gesture.

  • Friday, 02nd January 2026, in observance of New Year’s Holiday
