Saint Lucia’s Emancipation Day Celebrations will be held during the period July 18^th, 2024, to August 31^st, 2024. Emancipation Day holds profound significance for communities around the world, marking a pivotal moment in history when the formally enslaved were freed and began their journey toward liberty and equality. The emancipation celebration is not just a symbol of slavery but triumph and victory over an oppressive system.
