Here are some quick useful facts about obtaining your new Saint Lucian ePassport:

Q. CAN I APPLY TO RENEW MY EXPIRED PASSPORT?
A. Yes, you can apply to renew your expired passport. The process takes 15 business days and costs EC$250.00.

Q. CAN I APPLY FOR A NEW PASSPORT? I’VE NEVER HAD ONE.
A. Yes, you can apply for a new passport. The process takes 15 business days and costs EC$250.00.

Q. I HAVE AN EMERGENCY AND WILL BE TRAVELLING IN LESS THAN 15 DAYS BUT I DO NOT HAVE A PASSPORT.
A. Fill out all the forms and with the relevant documents, apply for an emergency ePassport. You will also need to walk with your purchased flight ticket.
A. An emergency ePassport costs EC$300.00 and takes 1-5 business days for processing.

Q. WHEN SHOULD I APPLY FOR A NEW PASSPORT?
A. If you have never owned a passport and will be travelling.
A. If your old passport is valid for 6 months or less prior to travelling.

Q. ARE THE MACHINE-READABLE PASSPORTS THE OLD PASSPORTS) STILL VALID FOR TRAVEL?
Yes, once the machine-readable passport has not reached its expiration date, it is valid at all air and seaports. You do not need to apply for an ePassport.

PLEASE NOTE:

  1. Only 50 passports will be processed daily.
  2. Only people who receive a number will be facilitated every day.
  3. If you have no travel plans for the next 3 months, please allow people with travel plans priority, until the backlog has been rectified.
