On Saturday, 19ᵗʰ February 2022, the Consulate General of Saint Lucia in Toronto hosted a Thanksgiving Church Service, to commemorate Saint Lucia’s 43ʳᵈAnniversary of Independence. The service was held at Our Lady of Good Counsel Caribbean-Canadian RC Church, in Toronto, Canada.

Consul General Henry Mangal, who attended the thanksgiving service virtually, from Saint Lucia, delivered his maiden Independence message: “Douvan Ansanm: Celebrating Saint Lucians in Canada”.
