The Sir Arthur Lewis Community College, in collaboration with the Organization of American States presents a Visual Arts Competition, in celebration of the Fifth Annual Inter-American Week, for People of African Descent in the Americas.
Artists will have an opportunity to showcase their work, at the Sir Arthur Lewis Community College, for a group art exhibition, from May 26th – 28th.
Both amateur and professional artists are invited to submit visual art entries, based on the Art Exhibition Theme: ‘Stories of Courage in the Americas: Resistance to Slavery and Unity Against Racism’.
Artists are encouraged to submit up to two of the following types of art:
- Craft
- Digital art
- Paintings
- Photography
- Sculpting

Eligibility:
- Saint Lucian by birth
- Amateur or professional artist
- Between the ages of 12-80
Artists will be contacted and informed once their submitted pieces have been successfully chosen, by a panel of 5 judges.
